Air Fryer to Oven Converter
Got an air fryer recipe but no air fryer? Enter the air fryer setting to get the oven equivalent.
Air fryer setting
That temperature is above your air fryer's maximum, so we capped it and added 10% to the time to compensate.
The air fryer to oven rule
Going the other way reverses the same relationship. A conventional oven has no fan driving air onto the food, so it needs to run hotter and for longer to achieve the same result.
Oven temp = air fryer temp + 25°F · Oven time = air fryer time × 1.25
Example. An air fryer recipe of 375°F for 16 minutes becomes 400°F for 20 minutes in the oven.

Common questions
Can you cook air fryer food in a regular oven?
Yes. Raise the temperature by 25°F and increase the time by about 25%. Use a wire rack over a baking tray so air can reach the underside of the food.
Will it be as crispy in the oven?
Not quite. You can get close by using a wire rack instead of a solid tray, positioning the food in the upper third of the oven, and turning on the convection setting if you have one.
What oven setting is closest to an air fryer?
Convection bake, sometimes labelled fan bake or fan-forced, is the closest equivalent. If you use convection, add only 15°F rather than 25°F.
