Food safety — please read this one
The cooking times, temperatures and conversions on this site are guidance based on typical equipment and typical portion sizes. They are not a guarantee that any particular piece of food is safely cooked.
Air fryers vary substantially between models, and food varies in thickness, starting temperature and density. For meat, poultry, fish and eggs, always confirm the food has reached a safe internal temperature with a food thermometer before serving. We publish USDA safe internal temperatures alongside our cooking times for exactly this reason. Where a time on this site and a thermometer reading disagree, trust the thermometer.
You are responsible for the safe preparation of your own food. We accept no liability for illness, injury or loss arising from reliance on the information published here.
