Poultry must reach 165°F at the thickest point, away from the bone.

How to cook Turkey Breast in an air fryer

  • Roughly 15–20 minutes per pound at 350°F. Measure your breast rather than trusting a single number.
  • Lower temperature than chicken on purpose — the breast is thick and would burn outside before the middle is safe.
  • Rest for 15 minutes before carving. This one genuinely matters.

Common questions

How long do you air fry Turkey Breast?

Turkey Breast takes 45–60 minutes at 350°F (180°C) in an air fryer. Start skin-side down, turn at the halfway point. Cook to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Can you cook a whole turkey in an air fryer?

Almost never — a whole turkey does not fit a basket air fryer. A bone-in breast of around 3 lb is the practical maximum for most machines.

Why 350°F instead of 400°F?

A turkey breast is thick. At 400°F the skin burns long before the centre reaches a safe 165°F.
