How to cook Scallops in an air fryer

  • Dry them obsessively. Scallops hold a lot of water and wet ones will never brown.
  • Remove the small tough side muscle if it is still attached.
  • These overcook faster than almost anything else here. Check at 6 minutes.

Cooking Scallops from frozen

From frozen, cook for 9–12 minutes at 400°F. Thaw and dry thoroughly first; frozen scallops release too much water.
